About this tool

A simple frame makes a photo look finished: a white border like a printed snapshot, a thin dark line around a screenshot, or soft rounded corners that match a modern website or app. This tool adds any of these to a whole batch of pictures at once, with sizes set as a percentage of each picture so a small and a large photo get proportionally the same frame.

Rounded corners are cut cleanly with transparent areas outside the curve, saved as PNG or WebP so they sit on any background. If you need a JPG, choose a fill colour for the corners instead, matching the page they will appear on. The inner padding option adds a second band inside the border, for a mounted-photo look.

Circle mode crops each picture to a centred square and cuts it into a circle, which is exactly what profile pictures, team pages and avatars need. Add a thin border in your brand colour for a polished ring.

This tool runs entirely in your browser. What you type or open is never sent to a server.

Frequently asked questions

Why was my JPG saved as a PNG?

JPG cannot store transparency, so clear rounded corners would turn black or white. The result is saved as PNG instead. Choose "Fill with a colour" for the corners if you need a JPG.

Is the border added outside or over my picture?

Outside. The picture keeps all its pixels and the canvas grows by the border and padding on every side.

How does circle mode handle a rectangular photo?

It takes the largest centred square from the photo and cuts the circle from that. Crop the photo first if the subject is off-centre.

Does it lower image quality?

No resizing happens, so the picture keeps its full detail. PNG is lossless; JPG and WebP are saved at high quality.

Are my pictures uploaded?

No. They are framed in your browser and saved straight to your device.
