About this tool

A paper calendar on the fridge or the office wall is still the quickest way for a household or a team to see the year at a glance. This maker lays out a full year on one page, or one large month per page with room to write in each day, and lets you start from any month, so an academic year from September or a financial year from April is just as easy as January to December.

Your own dates are what make it useful. Type them one per line, as a single date, as a month and day that repeats every year for birthdays and anniversaries, or as a range for holidays and school terms. On the year view they are circled; on the month view the text appears inside the day. Public holidays are not added automatically, because they differ by country and region, so add the ones that matter to you.

The PDF uses standard fonts that cover Western European languages. For languages with other letters or alphabets, use Print and choose Save as PDF in the print dialogue, which uses your computer's own fonts and handles every script.

This tool runs entirely in your browser. What you type or open is never sent to a server.

Frequently asked questions

Can I start the calendar on Monday?

Yes. Choose Monday, Sunday or Saturday as the first day of the week. Monday is the default, as in most of the world; it switches to Sunday automatically if your browser is set to US English.

How do I add a birthday that repeats every year?

Write the month and day without a year, for example 05-14 Sam's birthday. It is added to every year shown, which is handy for calendars that run over two years.

What are week numbers?

Many workplaces and schools refer to weeks by number. The calendar uses the ISO standard, where weeks start on Monday and week 1 is the week with the year's first Thursday.

Why does the PDF change some letters?

The built-in PDF fonts cover Western European letters only. Other letters are simplified and you get a notice. The Print option avoids this by using your own system fonts.

Are my dates and events stored or uploaded?

They are remembered in this browser so you can come back and print again, and they never leave your device. The PDF is built on your computer.
