How to use the SVG to PNG Converter

    1. Drop one or more SVG files, or paste SVG code.
    2. Choose a scale such as 2× or an exact width in pixels.
    3. Pick PNG, JPG or WebP and a transparent or solid background.
    4. Download the image, or a ZIP when you converted several files.

    About this tool

SVG is the right format for logos and icons because it stays sharp at any size, but plenty of places only accept bitmap images: social profiles, office documents, email signatures, app stores and older design tools. This converter draws your SVG at the size you choose and saves it as PNG, JPG or WebP, so the result is as crisp as the original vector at that size.

Many SVGs from icon sets and design apps have no width or height, only a viewBox. The converter reads the viewBox to get the right proportions instead of falling back to the browser's tiny default, and tells you when an SVG has no size information at all. It also warns when the drawing links to images on other servers, which browsers refuse to draw onto a canvas for security reasons.

Export at 2× or 3× for screens with high pixel density, or type an exact width when a site asks for, say, a 512-pixel icon. Transparent backgrounds are kept in PNG and WebP; JPG has no transparency, so a white background is used unless you pick another colour.

This tool runs entirely in your browser. What you type or open is never sent to a server.

    Frequently asked questions

Why does my PNG look blurry?

It was probably saved too small and then enlarged elsewhere. Export at the size it will be shown, or larger, using the scale or exact width setting.

Why is text in a different font?

If the SVG names a font that is not installed on your computer, the browser substitutes another. Convert the text to outlines in your design app before exporting, or install the font.

    Why are some parts missing?

Images linked from other websites are blocked when drawing to a canvas. Embed them in the SVG, or download them and reference them as data inside the file.

    Is there a size limit?

Browsers can draw images up to about 16,000 pixels on a side, so larger requests are scaled down to that limit automatically.

    Are my files uploaded?

No. Each SVG is drawn and saved by your own browser. Logos and unreleased artwork never leave your device.
